Babies and Dogs

Today my news are actually pretty old but there is a new study that confirms it.
Babies who live together with pets are healthier that other babies.

Babies who live with a dog are 44% less likely to develop ear infections and 29% less likely to have used antibiotics.
They tested nearly 400 Finnish children during their first years.

Babies who lived with cats are also healthier but the effect was stronger with docs. The researchers think that exposure to dirt and microbes helps to cross-train a
babies immune system.

So parents there is no need to worry when there are pets arround!
